"Being a Canastota native (now living in Cicero), I was absolutely thrilled when Dick & Bert's Hometown Diner opened. I visited their diner in Bridgeport, for breakfast, more times than I can recall, and it was always a pleasant experience -- not only because of the delicious breakfasts, but just as much because of the warm reception they always gave, no matter how busy they were! And they were always very busy, which is proof positive that they operated a successful business. Visiting their new diner in Canastota, the reception is just as warm and inviting, the food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere bright. I plan on being a regular customer once again, just as I was in Bridgeport!

One of the first things that you notice when you stop in is the friendly atmosphere and then as soon as you are served you realize that the food is great too ! We have been customers of Dick and Bert for several years now and were sad to see them close their doors a few years ago, when they retired. We were happy to hear that they were back in business because we have yet to find a place that we enjoy quite as much..
